The RSHM LIFE Center responds…
When the New York went in to lockdown in March of 2020 the LIFE center was forced to close it’s doors as well. That didn’t last long. We immediately began working on ways we could respond to the crisis here in our community.
The majority of our regular programs are still paused but we hope to reopen them soon. Our Immigration Legal Services staff have worked remotely throughout the crisis and are beginning to hold in-person appointments.
Food distribution, Summer Fun, and Learning Labs were all conducted safely and without incident. Please see our News and Events page to see how our Covid Pivot enabled us to respond to needs as they arose.
The LIFE Center remains committed to our mission of service to those in need and we are grateful to all who have supported our efforts.
