Parents and Tots Program - RSHM LIFE Center

Parents and Tots is a pre-school program for toddlers, with a support component for the parent or guardian who accompanies the child.  In this program children are immersed in the English Language, learn to follow directions, learn social skills, learn to play with other children and begin to separate from their mothers for periods of time.  This enables the children to prepare for school. 

During the time that the children are in their group, the mothers study English and participate in a women’s support group. These activities empower the women to develop as individuals, reduce isolation, provide them with a peer network, and enable them to grow in self-knowledge and self-esteem.
